Start of the climb up the Old Man of Coniston Acrylic Painting

Used a modified technique on this one, more focus on patches of color. Added burnt sienna, ultramarine and cadmium orange to the palette. The view is from the start of the climb up the old man. The light strip in the distance is Coniston water. So do people prefer my watercolors or Acrylics? Say nowt if neither ! :)

Your watercolours get my vote, Roy - I love how you manage to capture the light and the transparent aspect gives more "life" to the painting - IMHO!
