Painting all Day for Charity! Sunrise to Sunset

I am sooo exited! Southend Mencap are an awesome charity who help people with learning difficulties. I am personally grateful to them as my daughter makes use of their services. So it is with delight that I can let you know I will be helping raise awareness and money  by painting a whole series of watercolors, from sunrise until sunset on this Saturday 21st. Near Southend Pier. It is in conjunction with what is the main event, a music marathon by the amazing, talented musician, founder of Mencap music school; David Stanley and his friend Liam Ambrose. I will be starting early- hey ! What time does the sun get up?? errr 5.52 am? oh- Right! :)

Here is my plan:

  • Start painting at sunrise from this location
  • Paint until approx 13.00
  • Short break and join Mencap Music school members on the end of the longest pier in the world
  • Sell and continue to paint until sunset, paintings will be simply mounted and sell for £30.00 all the money will go to Mencap.
So why not join me? It will be fun. If you blog or make videos, would love to see you, or just come to hang out, particularly at 2pm on the pier, where the amazing music school will perform.

ps: Painting above is one made before from the start location.

And above is a watercolor from further round looking back towards the pier.
