Evening Lake

This was painted for the September Challenge on Paint My Photo I started by using a 'plant sprayer' to dampen the paper. It has given me ideas for some new methods, I have ordered a couple of different sized water sprays. It is more and more apparent to me that what I want to achieve is a 'gentle control' of watercolour painting. The more you let the water carry the pigment, the more appealing the resulting image.
