This is a view across the valley near Cartmell fell in the southern part of the Lake District. My Wife and I had a fabulous visit very near here. Painted on 140lb watercolor paper, using the limited palette I described in my last post. Can you see why I concentrate on tone and limited color? I am trying to use the nature of watercolor to emulate nature. Does that make any sense? But, then. I am an Artist!!

Roy, for someone who doesn't consider themselves an artist, you certainly paint like one! The strokes and rendering on this piece is incredible!
Thanks Eddie!
